Visitation Guidelines:
- Visitors must make a reservation at least 12 hours in advance prior to the day of the visit, call (541) 416-3620.
- Our regular visitation days are Wednesday 7 PM to 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 PM TO 3:30 PM.
- Visitors under the age of 18 cannot visit unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Anyone who has been convicted of contraband charges, or been in jail within the last 90 days, or administratively banned are not allowed to visit.
- Visits are 30 minutes in duration.
- Paperback books, games and magazines brought into the facility will be the property of the jail.

Inmate Property Release:
- An inmate must complete a property release form authorizing you to pick up their personal property and a description of the property to be released.
- The property must be picked up at the Crook County Jail.
- Inmates awaiting transfer to the Department of Corrections are required to release all property in their possession prior to being transferred, with the exception of one set of clothes. Property will be discarded after 60 days if it is not picked up.
Inmate Mail:
- Only inmate mail delivereed through the US Postal Service with the complete name, address of the sender will be accepted for distribution to inmates.
- If the addressee on incoming mail cannot be identified or no longer resides at the facility and the mail was received through the US Postal Service the mail will be returned to the sender.
- Inmates may receive soft covered books, magazines, newspapers only if sent to the inmate directly from the publisher. Soft covered religious material can be accepted through the front lobby office during regular business hours.
- We do not accept polaroid photos.
- Do no place white out, stickers, or confetti in or on the envelopes.
Inmate Accounts:
- Family and friends may place money on an inmate's account in the form of cash, or money order. No 3rd party checks or business checks will be accepted.
- Money can be put on their accounty during regular business hours.
