The Crook County Community Corrections Division is located on 301 Ne 3rd Street.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. until 5:00p.m.   This Office is a Division of the Crook County Sheriff’s Office.

Within this Division, there are eight staff members consisting of a Director, an Office Deputy, three full time Parole & Probation Officers, a part time Parole & Probation Officer, a work crew/community service coordinator, and a work crew supervisor.

The Division supervises approximately two-hundred forty (240) active cases.   The type of cases being supervised in Crook County range from Driving While Suspended, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Assaults, Burglaries, Robbery, Thefts, Possession, Delivery and/or Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, various Sex crimes (Rape, Sodomy, Sex Abuse), to Negligent Homicide.  The length of supervision for an offender can range from six (6) months to twenty-five (25) years.

The Division’s work crew/community service program maintains a minimum of one hundred (100) cases monthly.  The cases are referrals from the Court and Parole & Probation Officers.

The goal of the Division is to protect the community, enforce the conditions of supervision as set by the sentencing Courts and/or the Board of Parole, and to help in the rehabilitation of the offender.

As part of this web site, we are posting our offenders that have been designated by the State Board of Parole as predatory sex offenders.  This does not mean there are only two sex offenders in Crook County, but only that there are two offenders that have been deemed predators by the State of Oregon Board of Parole prior to being released from prison.  If you would like to get a list of all sex offenders in Crook County, you would need to contact the Oregon State Police.  Our Division does not provide this information.
